The Premise

An Inheritance, a Murder

Barcelona, the roaring twenties. The millionaire Mr. Collins has been found dead in his mansion, and his will holds one last twist: whoever discovers the killer inherits everything.

The suspects had every reason to want him dead — and they are all on your payroll. In groups of up to around 20, every guest gets a character with secrets to keep and alibis to defend. In large groups, eight colleagues play the suspects and everyone else investigates in teams of detectives.

No screens, no slides, no trust falls. A live theatre show in which your team is the cast: an original script, professional actors and a finale nobody sees coming.

Real players, mid-showA crime among the guests.
How the Evening Unfolds

The Case, Act by Act

A team building activity with a beginning, a twist and an ending — this is what your colleagues will actually do.

  1. Colleagues in 1920s hats comparing their character files at a corporate murder mystery in Barcelona
Act IEveryone has something to hide.

    The Summons

Days before the event, the organiser hands out the roles from a private link. In groups of up to around 20, everyone receives a character and a confidential file — outgoing, discreet or chameleon, so each person gets one that fits. In large groups only the eight suspects are cast; the rest arrive as detectives.

  2. Actress in maid costume serving cava at a corporate after-work murder mystery at Poble Espanyol
Act IIThe staff knows more than it says.

    The Mansion Opens

The household staff receives you in character, with hats, jewels and props waiting. It works as a complete after-work plan: no meal needed. Come for the show alone, or add the drinks pack — a welcome glass of cava, then soft drinks and beer during the show. Five minutes in, nobody is from accounting any more.

  3. Actress performing under stage lights during a live murder mystery show for companies in Barcelona
Act IIILive theatre, two metres away.

    The Crime

The lights change, the will is read and the murder comes to light. Lighting, sound and special effects turn the room into a stage — and your team into the only witnesses.

  4. Actor in tuxedo handing a clue to participants during a team building murder mystery in Barcelona
Act IVEvery clue changes the theory.

    The Investigation

Interrogate the actors, trade clues with other departments, catch a colleague in a lie. People who never share a meeting end up building a theory together. Groups of 24 or more investigate in teams.

  5. Corporate team group photo after solving the murder of Mr. Collins at Poble Espanyol Barcelona
    Act VCase closed. Team changed.

    The Verdict

Accusations fly, the actors reveal what really happened and the heir is named. Then comes the group photo — the one that goes round the office on Monday.

What Your Team Takes Home

Team Building Without the Cringe

Silos Broken

To solve the case you need clues held by other tables. Departments mix because the plot demands it, not because HR asked.

Communication Under Pressure

Asking the right question, listening for the contradiction, defending a theory with incomplete data. Just like a real project.

Everyone Takes Part

In small groups everyone has a character; in large ones the outgoing play the suspects and the rest investigate in teams. Nobody is left watching.

International Teams

Performed in native-level English or Spanish, with a cast used to mixed, multinational groups.

A Shared Story

The boss accused of murder, the intern who cracked the case: inside jokes that last far longer than any workshop.

Zero Work for You

Venue, cast, props, optional dinner and one invoice. You approve a proposal and show up.

What Teams Say Afterwards

★★★★★

“I've had 2 experiences with 123 Action: team building for an international group of 7 — we all enjoyed the experience and had a great time. That's why I decided to repeat and give the experience as a birthday surprise. The actors engaged everyone from Minute 1 and later they all told us how much fun they had!”

Questions Before Booking

Nobody performs in front of an audience. Each character is played through conversation — asking, answering, bluffing a little. In groups where everyone has a character, each one is tagged as outgoing, discreet or chameleon, so reserved colleagues get a part they are comfortable with; in large groups only volunteers play suspects. The professional actors carry the show.
No need to buy anything. We provide accessories and props — hats, jewellery, scarves — and there is a dressing room to leave your things. If the team wants to go further, a simple 1920s touch from your own wardrobe is more than enough.
From 24 people the murder mystery is played in teams: eight outgoing volunteers play the suspects, one per team, and everyone else investigates as detectives — questioning the actors and the other teams. This version lasts two hours and works for up to 65 people in our mansion.
You can book without the exact number. The ideal moment to close it is a few days before the event, when the character files are sent out — that gives everyone time to prepare their role.
It happens all the time and works just as well: a character doesn't have to match the player's gender, and any colleague can play any role. What can't be changed are the characters of the story itself.
Before the show, as many as you like — the dressing room is perfect for it, props on. During the game we recommend keeping phones away: players who film lose the thread. At the end we take two group photos and send them to you.
Then it's time for a different case: we have more corporate experiences — a game show, an outdoor SWAT mission, a second murder mystery — that fit the same plan. You'll find them just below.
